Put the sugar with 4 tablespoons of water in a pot over medium heat. Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves and let it cook until it turns a dark color. Pour the caramel into a greased flan mold and let it rest.
In a blender, mix the cream cheese, milk, pineapple juice, the 5 eggs, and a splash of vanilla.
Pour the mixture into the flan mold with the caramel. Place the flan mold in a baking dish and fill it with boiling water halfway.
Bake it in a water bath at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes, or until set and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
Remove the mold from the baking dish and let it cool. Cover it and refrigerate it overnight.
