  • 2 cups coconut, grated
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 16 cherries , in syrup, chopped

  • Mix the coconut, sugar, egg whites, and cherries.
  • When the mixture becomes pasty, take a small portion and form little balls.
  • Repeat the process until the mixture is finished.
  • Arrange the pieces on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and bake at 180ºC for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet and wait for the truffles to cool before eating.
