We know you can't resist Mexican sweets, and these chili tamarinds are no exception; sprinkled with piquín chili and sugar, they are the snack you need. Making traditional Mexican candies has never been so easy!
In a small pot, heat the water with the sugar; when it boils, add the tamarinds and cook, stirring continuously until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
On a sheet of wax paper, pour the tamarinds, let cool, add piquín chili powder, salt, and wrap in cellophane.
