Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler.
Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla essence until light; incorporate the melted chocolate and mix well.
Add the sifted flour.
Chop the walnuts and combine them with the chocolate chunks. Add half to the previous mixture. Integrate and let rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (180°C).
Place tablespoons of the mixture on a greased tray, well spaced apart.
Sprinkle the remaining walnuts and chocolate chunks over the cookies.
Bake for 12 minutes. Remove and let cool on the tray.
