Chocolate Cookie Chocoflan

  • 600 milliliters cow's milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 13 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 chocolate cookies, Flan
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons water

  • In a flan mold, we put 3 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water to make the caramel.
  • We place the flan mold on the stove over high heat, and when the caramel starts to form, we lower the flame to the minimum and move the flan mold from side to side until the caramel is well distributed over the base and edges, remove from heat and let cool.
  • In the blender, we put the other ingredients and blend perfectly until the mixture is smooth, without lumps.
  • Once the caramel is cold, we pour the blended mixture into the flan mold, seal the container tightly.
  • We put the pressure cooker on the stove with a little water at the bottom and an upside-down metal container to create a water bath.
  • We place the flan mold inside the pot, cover it, and when steam comes out of the tube in the center of the lid, we put the cap on and cook the flan over low heat for 30 minutes.
  • After cooking, we let the pot cool, open it, remove the flan mold, and let it cool to room temperature.
  • When the mold is cold, we put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour and unmold.
