Chocolate Custard

Rich and creamy chocolate custard, the perfect and simple dessert to prepare. It is creamy and very tasty; served cold, it is the perfect way to end a meal while enjoying its flavor.

  • 200 grams semisweet chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 600 milliliters cow's milk

  • Prepare a saucepan in a double boiler by placing a large pot with a little water and placing another pot on top that does not touch the water. Set it over medium heat to bring the water to a boil. In the top pot, place the chocolate in pieces with 1/2 cup of milk. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs until well combined and set aside.
  • When the chocolate has melted, stir with a whisk and add the remaining milk, vanilla, sugar, and the beaten eggs, continuously stirring with a whisk until it thickens.
  • Pour into 6 small molds and refrigerate.
