Chocolate Table Tamales

Enjoy these chocolate tamales this season, perfect to accompany with coffee. They are very soft and have an intense chocolate flavor. You can pair them with condensed milk, delicious.

  • 3 sticks butter, 270 g
  • 3/4 cups Great Value® granulated sugar
  • 2 cups masa mix for tamales
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/4 cups Mexican chocolate, grated
  • 1 cup peeled walnut Great Value®
  • 10 corn husks

  • In a mixer, cream the butter with the sugar and beat until fully integrated. Add the masa harina, baking powder, salt, and gradually add the milk.
  • Add the grated chocolate and continue beating, then add the walnuts and beat until integrated.
  • Using a spoon, place the previous mixture onto the corn husks, close the husk, and fold.
