Brownie Trees

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 250 grams semisweet chocolate
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cups cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 4 eggs

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  • Melt the chocolates with the butter in a double boiler, remove from heat, and stir in the sugar.
  • Add the eggs one by one with the vanilla until well incorporated.
  • In a medium rectangular non-stick pan, add the batter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
  • Cut them into triangles and insert a bamboo or wooden stick in the center of one side.
