Low-Carb Brownies

A very delicious brownie recipe but with much fewer calories than the original.

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 tablespoons baking powder , royal
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 3/4 cups Splenda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 100 grams semisweet chocolate, in pieces
  • 2 tablespoons liquid vanilla
  • 4 eggs

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish approximately 20 x 25 cm.
  • In a bowl, mix the almonds, baking powder, salt, and Splenda.
  • In a microwave-safe container, melt the butter and chocolate, mixing well. Add the almond mixture, beaten eggs, vanilla, and mix very well.
  • Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. (Check at 15 minutes to avoid drying out the brownies).
  • Remove from the oven, let cool, and unmold. Cut into 48 squares.
