  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 3/4 cups raw sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cups coffee liqueur
  • 1 cup semi-dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter, (icing)
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur, (icing)
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream, (icing)
  • 1 1/4 cups icing sugar, sifted (icing)

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • Cream the butter and eggs. Add ¼ cup of coffee liqueur and the flour mixture. Mix well.
  • Add chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
  • Spread the mixture in a square mold of approximately 22 cm and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool.
  • With a brush, glaze the brownies with the remaining coffee liqueur.
  • Once completely cooled, spread the Icing over them and cut into squares of approximately 5 cm.
  • For the Icing: Heat the butter until it turns golden.
  • Remove from heat and add coffee liqueur, cream, and sugar.
  • Stir until smooth.
