Nutella Truffles

If you love hazelnuts and chocolate, you'll adore these Ferrero truffles; they are creamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, giving them a unique and delicious touch, plus they are super easy and quick to make.

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cups nutella
  • 1/4 cups cocoa
  • 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cups bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, peeled, toasted, and chopped

  • Preheat oven to 150°C.
  • On a baking sheet, bake the hazelnuts until they are golden brown.
  • Carefully, so you don’t burn yourself, rub them with your hands until you have completely peeled them, set aside half, and finely chop the other half.
  • In a food processor, add the Nutella, whole hazelnuts, cocoa, melted dark chocolate, and honey. Process until you have a dough.
  • In a bowl, using a spoon, mix until you have a homogeneous consistency. Make small balls and set aside.
  • Freeze for 10 minutes until the mixture is firm.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave or using a double boiler until you have a smooth and shiny chocolate, add the previously chopped hazelnuts and mix. Using a fork, dip the balls in the chocolate until fully coated and place them on wax paper, then wait for them to harden.
  • Serve cold.
