Christmas Chocolate Basket with Dried Fruits

This little basket is super fun to make; an ideal activity to do with family or friends, for both kids and adults. Plus, it's very easy to make, but undoubtedly, the best part is its incredible combination of flavors. You have to make it!

  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate, melted
  • mini balloons
  • 3 cups Nestlé® Cheerios
  • 1/2 cups almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cups candied sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tablespoons nutmeg
  • 1/2 cups maple syrup
  • 1/4 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cups cranberries, dried
  • cranberries, fresh, for decoration
  • rosemary, for decoration

  • Take a balloon and inflate it to the size of a small basket. Dip half of the balloon in melted chocolate, place several on a tray, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • While it cools, mix the Nestlé® Cheerios with the almonds, candied sesame, walnuts, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple honey; combine.
  • Bake the Nestlé® Cheerios mixture for 15 minutes at 180 °C; remove from the oven and let cool. Mix with chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  • Serve the baskets with the mixture, decorate with fresh cranberries and rosemary.
