Churros

Churros are a delicious dessert, ideal to serve in posadas with hot chocolate or coffee.

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 350 milliliters water
  • 75 milliliters vegetable oil
  • sugar
  • vegetable oil, to fry

  • Put the oil and water to heat over low heat.
  • Once hot add the flour and salt. Mix and remove from heat.
  • Put the dough in a sleeve with a star-shaped duya.
  • Heat the oil in the fryer.
  • Carefully form the churros and directly from the sleeve put them in the deep fryer.
  • Take them out once they are golden brown.
  • Put them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
  • Then sprinkle sugar to impregnate them.
