Coffee Cream

  • 1 can dulce de leche
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can table cream
  • 3 envelopes natural unflavored gelatin
  • 3/4 cups water, to dissolve the gelatin
  • 3/4 cups water, for the dulce de leche
  • 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee, of your preference
  • anise seeds, star anise for decoration (optional)

  • In a bowl, we put the dulce de leche and add 3/4 cup of water, mixing until we achieve a liquid consistency and set aside.
  • In the blender, we pour the sweetened condensed milk and the half-and-half, then add the reserved dulce de leche and 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee, blending all the ingredients and setting aside.
  • We hydrate the 3 packets of natural gelatin in 3/4 cup of water, then microwave in intervals of 20 seconds or use a double boiler until dissolved and without lumps.
  • We add the dissolved gelatin in the blender with the other ingredients and blend a little more to completely integrate all the ingredients.
  • We grease our mold or individual molds and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • We decorate with star anise seeds (optional) and serve.
