Coffee Pound Cake

This recipe is loved by my whole family; it takes a bit of time, but I assure you it's worth the result. These coffee pound cakes are delicious; I hope you enjoy them!

  • 300 grams butter
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons water, warm
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 6 egg whites, whipped to soft peaks
  • 200 grams butter
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee, dissolved in hot water
  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Beat the butter until it doubles in volume.
  • Add the egg yolks one by one, along with the sweetened condensed milk and the coffee previously dissolved in hot water.
  • Fold in the sifted flour along with the baking powder, alternating with the whipped egg whites.
  • Pour into a previously greased and floured mold.
  • Bake for 60 minutes, remove from the oven, unmold, and serve topped with the coffee cream.
  • For the coffee cream: Beat the butter until creamy and incorporate the coffee and sugar, mixing well.
