Homemade Strawberry Snow

For hot days or to treat your family to a delicious dessert, prepare this Homemade Strawberry Snow recipe, made with simple utensils and ingredients. To make your homemade snow perfect, you must use gelatin, as it helps the snow have a better consistency and stability.

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder, hydrated and melted (7g)
  • 3 cups frozen strawberry
  • 1 cup strawberries

  • Heat a small pot over medium heat with the water, add the sugar and cook until it forms a syrup. Add the gelatin and dissolve. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Blend the previous mixture with frozen and fresh strawberries until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Place the mixture in the frozen mixer bowl and beat at low speed for 20 minutes. Remove from the mixer and freeze for 20 minutes. Return to mixing for another 20 minutes and repeat the process until the mixture begins to solidify.
  • Finally, freeze the mixture for 1 hour until it is completely solid. Serve and enjoy.
