Lemon and mint granita is something you can eat in the afternoon to cool off; these two ingredients give that refreshing feeling, especially when prepared cold.

250 grams sugar
1/2 water
2 cups lemon juice , strained
20 leaves peppermint

Heat the sugar with the water over low heat for 10 minutes.
Add the lemon juice and mint leaves. Let it sit for 2 more minutes.
Wait for it to cool down a bit, blend the mixture and leave it at room temperature.
Freeze and every 30 minutes take it out of the freezer and blend it again.
