Lemon and Mint Granita

Lemon and mint granita is something you can eat in the afternoon to cool off; these two ingredients give that refreshing feeling, especially when prepared cold.

  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1/2 water
  • 2 cups lemon juice , strained
  • 20 leaves peppermint

  • Heat the sugar with the water over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Add the lemon juice and mint leaves. Let it sit for 2 more minutes.
  • Wait for it to cool down a bit, blend the mixture and leave it at room temperature.
  • Freeze and every 30 minutes take it out of the freezer and blend it again.
