Orange Bear-Shaped Ice Cream

In this homemade ice cream recipe, Vita+® orange slices are used creatively to create a dessert that will please the whole family. It's important to give the ice cream time to freeze perfectly; during this process, stir it constantly with a spoon to break up large crystals.

  • 5 cups Vita+® orange cup, 170 g each (frozen)
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • Vita+® orange cups, for decoration (just slices)

  • Blend the Vita+® orange slices with condensed milk and set aside in the freezer.
  • Whip the cream until it doubles in size, add the crushed oranges and the gelatin in a thin stream. Freeze and stir constantly to break up large crystals.
  • In a bowl, place a large scoop of ice cream; you can use a bowl to help shape it. With an ice cream scoop, make two medium-sized balls for the bear's ears; place them on top of the large scoop and add two orange slices from Vita+® on top to highlight the ears. Finally, use chocolate sprinkles to place the eyes and nose. Serve and enjoy!
