Reduced Sugar Lemon Carlota Ice Cream

Lemon Carlota is one of the quintessential homemade dessert recipes, but to give it a completely original twist, we prepare this Reduced Sugar Lemon Carlota Ice Cream recipe, which will become a must-have for your afternoons with friends.   • For the carlota, blend the evaporated milk with the lemon juice, cream cheese, and sweeten with Splenda® Sugar.
  • In a baking dish, place a layer of cookies, spread some of the previous preparation, and cover with more cookies. Repeat until the dish is full and refrigerate until solidifies.
  • Once the carlota is solid, remove from the refrigerator and cut into cubes. Set aside.
  • For the ice cream, whip the cream until it doubles in volume and forms peaks, add the lemon zest, and sweeten with Splenda® Sugar.
  • Mix the previous preparation with the carlota cubes carefully and place the mixture in a container. Freeze until completely solid. Remove and serve the ice cream with crushed cookies and lemon slices.
