Rose Petal Ice Cream

This ice cream is a very famous recipe in the Oaxaca market; rose petal ice cream is perfect for a refreshing and truly delicious dessert.

  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 1/3 cups rose petal
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups almonds, peeled
  • red food coloring, (drops)

  • Simmer the milk with the rose petals and sugar for 15 minutes.
  • Strain and let cool slightly, add the almonds and blend everything, add a few drops of food coloring (not too many) and pour into the ice cream maker, following the manufacturer's instructions.
