Yogurt, Honey, and Pecan Ice Cream

  • 2 1/4 cups FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

  • In a bowl, combine the egg yolks, sugar, and honey and lightly beat.
  • Gently bring the FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt to a boil.
  • Pour the FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt into the egg mixture and reheat.
  • Stirring constantly, simmer the mixture.
  • The mixture should thicken, without allowing it to boil.
  • Remove from heat and add the pecans.
  • Cool and freeze.
  • Stir every hour until set. This will take approximately 4-6 hours. Serve.
