Chocolate and Coffee Mousse

  • 1/4 cups unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground coffee
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup water
  • 10 grains coffee , chopped

  • Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler.
  • Add the coffee liqueur, the coffee powder, and the water.
  • Add the egg yolks one by one, then the vanilla, and let cool. Once lukewarm, add the coffee beans.
  • Beat the cream and the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar.
  • Fold the cream into the chocolate mixture gently.
  • Serve in clear glasses and refrigerate.
