For Valentine's Day, prepare this delicious strawberry chocolate mousse. You can make it in heart shapes and give it to that special person. It has a firm yet creamy consistency and an intense chocolate-strawberry flavor. It is very simple to prepare and doesn't require many ingredients.
Make a mixture with melted butter and crushed cookies; this will be the base of the strawberry and chocolate mousse. Flatten the mixture well with the help of a spoon; it is important that the base layer is thin and not too thick to leave space for the mousse. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
Mix the natural yogurt with the cocoa powder. Add the sugar and mix very well until the ingredients are integrated.
Dissolve the unflavored gelatin in a cup of hot water and let it cool.
Add half a cup of the previously hydrated unflavored gelatin to the previously prepared chocolate mousse. Mix well.
Remove the molds from the refrigerator and add, using a spoon, a little of the mousse to each mold. The important thing is that the mousse only fills half of the mold so that we can add the other half of the strawberry mousse. Return the molds to the refrigerator for about 30 to 40 minutes.
Place the previously washed and disinfected strawberries in a bowl. Add a little water and about two tablespoons of white sugar. Process until it forms a puree.
Incorporate the cream using a whisk, beating the mixture until it is semi-whipped. Add the other half of the unflavored gelatin and mix very well.
Add the strawberry mousse to each of the molds and return the molds to the refrigerator so we can finish the dessert.
