White Chocolate and Mint Mousse

Prepare this delicious white chocolate mint mousse to share with your family. It has a perfect creamy consistency that is ideal for finishing a special dinner.

  • 250 grams white chocolate
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mint essence
  • 1 egg
  • caramels, to taste
  • red food coloring, necessary amount

  • Place the white chocolate, mint extract, and milk in a double boiler. Stir constantly until the chocolate has melted.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Separate the egg whites and yolks from the three eggs. Add the egg yolks to the white chocolate mixture.
  • Whip the cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mixture.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and add them to the mixture until everything is well incorporated.
  • Separate the mousse into two parts and add a little red food coloring to one.
  • Layer the mousse in jars or glasses, alternating the colors.
  • Refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • Crush the candy canes and sprinkle them on top.
