This rice pudding was a treat for my husband, who loves desserts, but I wanted it to be different, and the result was wonderful. It can be eaten cold or hot at home or outside.
Cut the orange zest, making sure to avoid the white part; cut 3 strips of approximately 10 cm.
Cook the milk with the rice, cinnamon, star anise, and one strip of orange zest.
Once the rice is soft, add the condensed milk, sugar, and taste if the orange flavor has penetrated; if it still isn't to your liking, add the other two strips of orange, let it boil for another 5 minutes, and let it cool.
