Classic Tiramisu Recipe

This is the classic recipe for preparing tiramisu, a dessert of Italian origin with delicious coffee flavor, made with mascarpone cheese, sweet wine, cookies and cocoa. The characteristic of this dessert is that, whatever its version, you should always carry a solid ingredient moistened with coffee and be layered.   • 5 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cups icing sugar, for the yolks
  • 2 tablespoons wine, sweet
  • 1 orange zest
  • 2 packages mascarpone cheese, (226 gc / u) previously beaten a little, so that it is smooth
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1 cup espresso coffee, cold
  • 2 tablespoons wine, sweet
  • 1/2 cups cocoa, to decorate

  • For the cream: beat the yolks with the sugar, 2 tablespoons of sweet wine and the orange zest for 5 minutes, you should obtain a spongy and smooth consistency. Then mix in an enveloping way with the mascarpone cheese and reserve.
  • Apart, beat the egg whites with the pinch of salt for 5 minutes, until they double their volume (nougat point) and add them in an enveloping way to the mascarpone cheese mixture. Reservation.
  • Mix the coffee with the wine and reserve.
  • Soak the soletas in the coffee and arrange them in a mold forming a base, then cover it with the mascarpone cream. Repeat the process until the mold is filled, cover completely with cream and refrigerate.
  • Garnish with sprinkled cocoa, cut a slice, serve and enjoy.
