  • 1 stick cream cheese, 190 grams
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, 90 grams
  • 1 cup icing sugar, sifted (250 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Cut the butter and cream cheese into small cubes.
  • In a glass bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter by hand or with a mixer if you prefer.
  • Once the two ingredients are combined, gradually add the powdered sugar until the mixture is fluffy.
  • Finally, add the vanilla extract; you could also add a vanilla bean if you want to give your frosting a more intense flavor.
