1 stick cream cheese, 190 grams
1 stick unsalted butter, 90 grams
1 cup icing sugar, sifted (250 grams)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Cut the butter and cream cheese into small cubes.
In a glass bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter by hand or with a mixer if you prefer.
Once the two ingredients are combined, gradually add the powdered sugar until the mixture is fluffy.
Finally, add the vanilla extract; you could also add a vanilla bean if you want to give your frosting a more intense flavor.
