Chocolate Cupcakes with White Chocolate Topping

  • 200 grams margarine, or butter
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 milliliters whipping cream
  • 150 grams self-rising flour
  • 50 grams cocoa, bitter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • drops chocolate
  • milk chocolates, for the topping
  • 250 milliliters chantilly cream
  • 250 grams milk chocolate
  • 1 egg yolk

  • Preheat the oven to 180° Mix the margarine with the sugar. Add the vanilla. It is not necessary to wait for the sugar to dissolve; we just want to combine these three ingredients.
  • Add the eggs and the yolk one by one.
  • Combine the dry ingredients and add them alternately with the cream to the previous mixture.
  • Place the mixture in a piping bag or, using a spoon, fill the cupcake liners up to 3/4 of their capacity.
  • Bake in cupcake molds for about 20 min. or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool before decorating.
  • White Chocolate Topping: In a pot, bring the cream to a boil and pour it over finely chopped chocolate. Refrigerate and then whip at high speed until it reaches a chantilly point.
  • Decorate the cupcakes and enjoy this delicious treat!!
