Baby Shower Cupcakes

These baby shower cupcakes are made with pastel-colored frosting ideal for this special occasion. Try them! This recipe contains egg, which is a highly protein-rich food, containing vitamin B, vitamin A, folic acid, selenium, and sulfur. What is it for?   • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 tub vanilla frosting
  • red food coloring, and blue
  • sugar pearl sprinkles, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a cupcake pan with liners.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a mixer, cream the butter with the sugar until it has a fluffy consistency and is pale yellow in color.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until everything is incorporated and scraping the sides with a spatula. Add the vanilla.
  • Alternating, add the flour mixture and the milk to the mixer. Make sure everything is well mixed.
  • Divide the mixture into the prepared pan and fill it to ¾ full.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry.
  • Let cool.
  • Divide the frosting into two bowls, adding a drop of red food coloring to one and a drop of blue food coloring to the other. Mix until you achieve a pastel pink and pastel blue mixture.
  • Decorate the cupcakes with the frosting and sprinkles.
