Fluffy Chocolate Cupcakes
Annie Kleis
These delicious cupcakes are some of the best I have ever made, as they turn out very fluffy and have a delightful chocolate flavor, especially if you add chips. You must bake them at least once in your life!!

Servings
1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup water, warm
1 1/3 cups wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cups butter, at room temperature

Medium
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the cocoa in the hot water and stir with a spoon until fully incorporated, then let it cool slightly.
Mix the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and sift very well.
Beat the butter; after beating it for about a minute, start adding the sugar gradually, then add the vanilla.
Begin adding the flour to the mixture we prepared earlier with the butter (note, the flour should be sifted to avoid lumps).
Once this is incorporated, add it to the cocoa mixture gradually and beat until well combined. Add the chocolate chips.
Place the cupcake liners in a cupcake tray and fill them with the mixture up to a maximum of 2/3.
Bake the cupcakes for 16 to 20 minutes at 180°.
