Violet Cupcakes

These cupcakes are very sophisticated but very easy to make; the best part is that you can personalize the cupcakes, they are like small works of art where you can put all your creativity into them.

  • 100 milliliters olive oil
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 grams flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
  • 120 milliliters low-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon pasta , of violet
  • 4 egg whites, for decoration
  • 225 grams sugar , for decoration
  • 350 grams unsalted butter , for decoration
  • 2 teaspoons pasta , of violets, for decoration
  • fondant, white and edible pearls, for decoration

  • First, mix the oil with the sugar; don't forget to preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  • We add the 3 eggs and start beating.
  • We incorporate the flour and baking powder and then add the violet paste.
  • We add the milk and that's it, now we put them in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • For decoration: We heat the egg whites with the sugar in a double boiler and beat until it becomes like snow.
  • Now we add the butter.
  • Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of violet paste.
  • To make the flowers, we use fondant which is already prepared and ready to use.
