White Chocolate Cupcakes with Oreo Frosting

  • 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 package pudding, Hershey's white chocolate flavor (powder)
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 egg whites
  • 2 vanilla essence
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • oreo-type cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • In a large bowl, mix the butter with 3/4 cup of sugar until fluffy.
  • In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients (pudding, flour, sugar, and baking powder).
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and vanilla extract.
  • Slowly incorporate that mixture into the butter bowl and add the dry ingredients in parts.
  • Grease a cupcake mold with butter and a bit of flour, filling it 3/4 full with the mixture.
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes at 180 °C.
  • For the frosting, mix the powdered sugar with a little heavy cream and some crushed Oreo cookies.
  • Let the cupcakes cool and decorate them with the frosting.
