Preheat the oven to 180°C (moderate), grease the pans.
Incorporate the butter with sugar using a mixer, then add the eggs.
Add half of the flour and mix, then add the milk, vanilla, the rest of the flour, and half of the crushed strawberries, continuing to mix.
Finally, mix in half (8) of the chopped strawberries. Pour the batter into cupcake molds, filling them halfway.
Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, insert a toothpick (if it comes out clean, your cupcakes are ready; if not, you can leave them for another 10 minutes).
Let cool.
Mix the frosting with the rest of the crushed strawberries and the chopped strawberries. Mix well and place in a piping bag. Decorate the cupcakes with the frosting and serve.
