225 grams unsalted butter , at room temperature
400 grams flour
85 grams powdered sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In the mixer, cream the butter with the sugar until smooth.
Add the egg and vanilla, and let it incorporate.
Gradually add the flour until a homogeneous dough forms.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Use a skull-shaped cutter to cut out the cookies.
Place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the edges of the cookies are toasted.
Let them cool completely and decorate with royal icing to taste.
