  • Pour 1/4 tz. of hot milk in a bowl. Sprinkle the baking powder. Let it stand for 5 min.
  • In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup of remaining hot milk with sugar and butter. Add it to the yeast mixture and beat, add the egg and continue beating until it is well integrated.
  • Add the flour and salt, and beat until the dough begins to form. Remove the blender and start kneading with your hands. If the dough is very sticky, slowly add more flour until it is manageable.
  • Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a flat, floured surface. Knead for about 5 min. until the dough is soft and elastic. Form a ball and let it rest in a warm place for about 30 to 40 minutes.
  • In a plate or bowl, flatten the bananas and once the time of rest has elapsed, add them to the dough, incorporating perfectly.
  • Place the dough again on a floured surface and press it a little with a rolling pin. Cut strips of the dough and roll them on the surface to form "tripe", join the tips and give them a good circular shape.
  • Heat enough oil in a deep saucepan, put the donuts (depending on the size of the pan, taking care not to stick or crush), and let them cook for a few minutes until golden brown. Allow them to cool in order to cover them.
  • Melt the chocolate in a saucepan (according to package instructions). To cover the donuts, submerge half of them in the chocolate and place them on a rack to allow the chocolate to cool and harden.
