  • 500 grams flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 envelope yeast
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
  • 100 grams butter, in small cubes, at room temperature
  • vegetable oil
  • cinnamon sugar

  • Use the mixer’s hook attachment to mix the flour and yeast. Gradually add the milk and orange blossom water, then incorporate the sugar, mix, and add the egg. Combine and gradually add the butter until fully integrated and a homogeneous dough is obtained.Place the dough in a bowl previously greased with oil, cover, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Shape the doughnut centers and place them on a tray. Cover with plastic and let ferment for another 15 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat, fry the balls one by one for 10 minutes. Remove and coat with cinnamon sugar.
  • Place the doughnut centers on a plate and accompany with melted chocolate.
