  • Crumble the yeast, form a hole in the center with 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1 cup of flour, and place the yeast in the center.
  • Add 3/4 cup of hot milk to dissolve the yeast.
  • Incorporate the flour gradually and add 3 tablespoons of butter until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Transfer the dough to a metal container and cover with a damp cloth, letting it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Mix the rest of the flour, cocoa powder, eggs, butter, milk, and sugar.
  • When the volume of the dough that was left to rest increases, mix it with the other. Leave in a metal container and let it rest for an hour or until it doubles in size, covering with a damp cloth.
  • Knead and using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 or 3 cm. Cut into donut shapes, a large circle and a smaller one in the center.
  • Place the donuts on a baking sheet and let rest for 30 minutes or until they double in volume.
  • Fry the donuts in very hot oil and transfer to a plate with paper towels to drain the excess fat.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes and melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Dip each donut front side into the melted chocolate, decorating with white and milk chocolate chips.
  • Serve.
