Easy Chocolate Donuts

These irresistible chocolate donuts have an extra special flavor, as the dough is prepared with chocolate cookies and is finally covered with more chocolate. They are delicious and perfect for enjoying a doubly chocolaty snack!

  • 2 packages Emperador® chocolate flavor, for the dough
  • 2 1/2 cups flour, for the dough
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast, for the dough
  • 1 teaspoon salt, for the dough
  • 3/4 cups sugar, for the dough
  • 1/2 cups condensed milk, for the dough
  • 3/4 cups whole milk, for the dough
  • 4 eggs, for the dough
  • 1 cup butter, for the dough
  • vegetable oil
  • semisweet chocolate, melted, for decoration
  • chocolate sprinkles, for decoration

  • Crush the Emperador® chocolate cookies with the help of a food processor.
  • Mix the flour, Emperador® chocolate cookies, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl or mixer. Add the condensed milk, whole milk, and egg. Work until fully incorporated. Gradually add the butter until perfectly blended.
  • Transfer the dough to a greased container and cover with plastic wrap. Let it rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size. Punch down the dough and roll it out to a thickness of 1.5 cm. Cut the donuts with a cutter and let them rest for another 30 minutes or until they double in size.
  • Fry the chocolate donuts in hot vegetable oil and remove excess grease with a paper towel. Let cool.
  • Cover the donuts with melted chocolate and chocolate sprinkles.
