  • To make the sponge cake, divide the oil, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla essence, and flour into three parts to blend.
  • Blend the oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla for 5 minutes until all ingredients are combined.
  • Add the sugar and flour gradually and blend until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Blend the other two parts of the ingredients in the same way and place in 6 different containers, then add a few drops of different food coloring to each one.
  • Mix each of the colors for 5 minutes until you achieve a uniform color.
  • Place in round cake pans of the same size and bake each one for 15 minutes at 180 °C.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool to be able to assemble the cake.
  • First, place the purple layer, spread two tablespoons of frosting evenly over the top of the cake using a spatula, then add the blue layer, cover with frosting, and continue with the other colors: green, yellow, red, and finally pink.
  • Cover the entire cake with frosting using a piping bag and a spatula. Refrigerate for one hour before adding the other layers of colors.
  • Using a piping bag, add each of the colors in lines, then flatten them with a flat spatula to help blend the colors. Decorate the top of the cake with marshmallows using the same colored frosting. Enjoy.
