  • 200 grams icing sugar
  • 500 grams flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Add the powdered sugar and continue beating until completely integrated.
  • Add the flour, previously sifted, a pinch of salt, and mix until a sandy dough forms.
  • Add the egg and the teaspoon of vanilla; mix until you have a homogeneous dough.
  • Place the dough in a plastic bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  • Roll out the dough and cut the cookies into the desired shape; refrigerate for another 20 minutes.
  • Bake the cookies for about 7-8 minutes or until they are slightly golden. Decorate with royal icing.
