Chocolate Chip and Walnut Cookies

The best cookies with dark chocolate chips and white chocolate. This recipe has been in my family for generations and is undoubtedly the favorite.

  • Preheat the oven to 190° C.
  • Sift flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Cream the butter in the mixer with brown sugar and vanilla, beat until the mixture is fluffy.
  • Add the egg.
  • Mix the walnuts and chocolate chips with the flour.
  • Lower the mixer speed and incorporate the dry ingredients.
  • On a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper, place spoonfuls of the mixture, and with the tips of your slightly floured fingers, flatten each cookie a bit.
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes. They should be firm to the touch and golden around the edges.
  • Let cool.
