Cookies for Lactation

If you are in the breastfeeding stage, we recommend you prepare these delicious cookies for lactation. They are very easy to make and will help you produce more milk to better feed your baby. You can't miss them!

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons flaxseed
  • 4 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 cups semi-dark chocolate chips

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place the yeast and flaxseed in a small cup and add 4 tablespoons of water. Mix until everything is combined and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Soften the butter, and add the two sugars, mix well and add the egg. You can do this by hand or use a mixer if you prefer.
  • Additionally, add vanilla, baking powder, and the yeast and flaxseed mixture. Beat until everything is well combined. Add the chocolate chips. If you'd like, you can reserve some chips, melt them in the microwave, and make swirls on the cookie when it’s already baked.
  • Form balls with two spoons and place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Bake at 180°C for 8 minutes.
