In a deep bowl with a whisk, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
With an electric mixer, cream the butter with the brown sugar and sugar until you achieve a fluffy consistency.
Add the flour mixture and vanilla extract, beating gradually to incorporate all the dough. Finally, add the egg.
Add the M&Ms and incorporate with a wooden spoon.
Prepare 2-3 baking sheets with parchment paper. Drop circles of dough with a spoon, leaving 5cm between each one, and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and with a spatula, separate the cookies from the baking sheet and allow to cool before serving.
