Christmas Tree Cookies

  • 90 grams butter
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups honey
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 eggs, batter
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt

  • In a saucepan, mix the butter, sugar, and vinegar until boiling.
  • Remove from heat and let cool until the mixture is warm. Stir in the beaten eggs.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and salt and stir with the butter mixture until a smooth dough forms.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Flour a surface and place the dough, then roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
  • Cut the dough with a cookie cutter in the shape of stars of different sizes.
  • Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 190ºC for 7 to 9 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and stack the cookies from large to small.
  • Dust powdered sugar on top of the cookies.
