Mix the flour, sugar, butter, and salt in a food processor.
With a fork or whisk, mix the egg yolks and vanilla. Add the flour mixture to make the dough in the processor.
Transfer the dough to a flat, floured surface and shape it with your hands until it forms a ball of dough.
With a floured rolling pin, flatten the dough.
Cut the cookies into small circles.
Transfer the cookies to the baking tray and place them in the oven for 10 minutes. (The cooking time depends on the thickness of the cookies; it is important to watch them so they don’t burn).
To paint the frosting, add one or two drops of red food coloring and stir well until it turns pink.
Remove the cookies from the oven, wait for them to cool down, add the vanilla frosting and an edible pearl for decoration.
