In a bowl, we sift the flour together with the baking powder, add the butter at room temperature, cut into squares, and mix.
We add the other ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are well combined.
With the help of our hands, we start to combine the ingredients and you will see how a dough will start to form; we knead in the bowl and work until the dough no longer sticks to our hands.
We form a ball, place it in a plastic bag, and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
After an hour, we take the ball out and cut it into 4 pieces, placing one of them on plastic wrap on top and below, and roll it out with a rolling pin, ensuring that the dough is not too thin.
Cut the desired shape and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350ºF for 10 minutes or until we see they are ready, without letting them brown too much.
Remove from the oven and let cool for half an hour.
Decorate with glaze or fondant in the motif of your choice.
