Crispy Oatmeal Mini Cookies

These cookies are very original, they have a sweet flavor and a crunchy texture that you will love, plus they are super easy to make. They contain oats, sliced almonds, maple syrup, and a touch of cinnamon for an incredible homemade taste.

  • 70 grams oats, raw
  • 25 grams almonds, sliced
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • sugar , for sprinkling

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Beat the butter with the maple syrup and vanilla until well combined.
  • Sift the flour, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Add the oats and stir.
  • To the butter mixture, add the egg until incorporated while continuing to beat and immediately add the milk.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the mixer and beat on low speed just to combine.
  • Stop the mixer and add the almonds. Take the dough with your hands and knead until you have a homogeneous dough.
  • On a baking tray, place balls of the mixture. Flatten them slightly with a spoon.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until the edges of the cookie are golden.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle sugar over the cookies.
  • Let cool before serving.
