These cookies are perfect for decorating and can be given as gifts at various events. They look very pretty and are the perfect gift for Christmas as everyone will love them.
Sift all the dry ingredients to avoid lumps and ensure the dough is homogeneous.
Beat the butter at medium speed until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar, continuing to beat.
Add the eggs one by one.
Continue beating until the ingredients are well integrated, add the vanilla and cinnamon.
Beat at low speed, adding half of the flour and all the milk.
Knead with your hands and add the rest of the flour (remember if you have used all the flour and the dough is still sticking to your hands, add more flour, or if you see that it is hardening too much, stop adding flour; it doesn't matter if it's less than what is in the ingredients because it depends a lot on the humidity of the environment).
Divide the dough into four parts and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
Take one part and roll it out with a rolling pin, ensuring it has an even thickness.
Once rolled out, refrigerate and repeat the process with the other 3 portions of dough.
Let the sheets rest for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Cut the cookies and place them on a baking tray, which can be lined with parchment paper or directly on the tray, and bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden. Let cool.
The leftover dough from the cutouts can be rolled into a ball, placed in the refrigerator, and follow the same previous process.
