Cornstarch Cookies with Strawberry Jam

Super easy and delicious cookies that don't require special cutters. The dough is very manageable and can be shaped by hand. These are cookies that you can enjoy with a nice cup of coffee or a glass of milk. Make them, don't wait any longer.

  • 200 grams flour
  • 100 grams cornstarch
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 100 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cans condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • jam, of your preferred flavor

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Sift the flour and cornstarch onto a clean surface.
  • Form a mound and make a space in the center to incorporate the cinnamon, egg yolks, and butter. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, kneading gently until you obtain a smooth dough.
  • Form balls the size of a walnut and make a small indentation in the center of each with your fingertip, adding a little jam (don't add too much or it will overflow).
  • Place on a baking tray and bake for approximately 15 minutes until lightly browned on the bottom. Let cool.
