  • 450 grams butter
  • 200 grams icing sugar
  • 2 milliliters orange essence
  • 1 egg
  • 40 grams cornstarch
  • 500 grams flour

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  • Cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy, then add the vanilla and egg, and mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour and cornstarch (sifted) until a smooth dough forms.
  • Fill a piping bag with the previous mixture using a large star tip and shape the cookies on a greased and floured baking sheet or parchment paper. The piping bag should be completely vertical for the shape to come out well.
  • Bake until golden at the edges.
