Cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy, then add the vanilla and egg, and mix well.
Gradually add the flour and cornstarch (sifted) until a smooth dough forms.
Fill a piping bag with the previous mixture using a large star tip and shape the cookies on a greased and floured baking sheet or parchment paper.
The piping bag should be completely vertical for the shape to come out well.
Bake until golden at the edges.
